iPhone SDK 3.0 beta3 releaes & 폴라로이드 사진 주의

1. 오늘 출근해보니 iPhone Developer Program 으로부터 iPhone SDK 3.0 beta 3 가 릴리즈 되었다고 이메일이 와 있네요.

2. 지난번에 애플 앱스토어에 간단한 app을 하나 올린적이 있는데 그 어플에 들어간 사진 3장이 폴라로이드 사진 형태의 모양이었습니다.

뭐 대충 이런 형태의?

어플을 올리고 거의 2주가 넘게 검수 진행이 안되는거 같더니 얼마전에 이런 메일이 왔습니다.

We received your application named &#*@&@!, which appears to include features that resemble Polariod photographs. Polaroid has previously objected to other applications that include features that resemble Polaroid photographs, and believes that such Polaroid features infringe its rights.

Before we proceed with your application, please take steps to review your application to ensure that it does not violate the rights of another party. Remember that, pursuant to our agreement, you have represented that your application will not infringe the rights of any third party, and that you are responsible for any liability to Apple because of a claim that your application infringes another party's rights. Also, we may reject or remove your application if we believe that doing so is prudent or necessary.

With this in mind, so that we don't take unnecessary steps, please confirm whether you wish to continue the application process within five days of this letter.

내용은

Polaroid 사가 자기네들 사진이미지 같은 모양을 쓰는 것들에 대해서 권리 침해를 주장하고 있으니 검수 진행하기 전에 잘 생각해봐라. 우리(Apple)이랑 너랑 계약할때 너는 써드파티의 권한을 침해하지 않아야 하고, 또 그렇게 했을 경우는 모두 니 책임이라는 내용이 있었다. 5일안으로 이 검수를 계속 진행해주길 원하는지 메일보내주라~

라는 것입니다.

구글검색을 해봤더니 해외 몇몇 블로거들의 글에서도 이런 내용으로 검수지연이 된 경우가 있더군요.

근데 애플에서 팔고 있는 iPhoto 09를 보면.. 아래와 같은 UI가 있습니다.

뿐만 아니라 Windows Live Writer 를 보면 

요렇게 즉석사진 모양의 UI도 제공하고 있는데… 이런건 전부 Polaroid 랑 사용권 계약을 하고 쓰는걸까요? 흠…

아무튼 AppStore 에 어플 올리시는 분들은 폴라로이드 사진(사진기 아닙니다) 형태의 UI는 가급적 사용하지 않도록 주의하시기 바랍니다.
